IRELAND

Top 3 Cities Visited

Because I lived in IRELAND and have since traveled back, I hold a very special place in my heart for it. For me, it is my favorite place in Europe, but it is also the place that I have spent the most time. While I lived there, I stayed in an apartment in GALWAY . I was lucky enough to schedule my classes so that I had off on Mondays and Fridays. Therefore, I always had a four day weekend. That meant that I had more time to go traveling throughout the country. Besides Galway, my other favorite cities are Killarney and Dublin.

Here is a picture of the Ross Castle located in KILLARNEY National Park. The park is 95 sq km and is the home to The Lakes of Killareny, Muckross House, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall, and Torc Mountain. It is a beautiful park that you can walk through, bike through or ride on a horse drawn carriage through.

DUBLIN is the largest city in Ireland, having one-third of the population living there. The River Leffey forms a natural boundary between the North Side and South Side of Dublin. O'Connel Street, along with the bridge is the primary link between the North and South sides. There are many attractions throughout all of Dublin. Such include: St Patrick's cathedral, Trinity College (the Book of Kells), Dublin Castle, Guiness Factory, Kilmainham Gaol, St Stephen's Green, Jameson Distillery and Dublin Zoo.

Below are two photo galleries from Ireland. The first contains pictures from Galway and the second contains pictures from Dublin.
